A paradise for birds in the vicinity of the Tablas de Daimiel, very close to them. Just two kilometres from Daimiel, between the city and the river Guadiana, the Navaseca Lagoon forms part of the set of lagoons in the municipality of Daimiel, and is one of the lagoons and wetlands that make up the "Mancha Húmeda" Biosphere Reserve.
Navaseca is an exceptional wetland for birdwatching, hosting a great variety of birds, among which the anatidae, gulls, coots, calamons and especially the scarce white-headed duck and the common flamingo stand out.
